Another Batch of Street Fighter IV News Bytes

I’ve been pretty busy playing Street Fighter IV ever since I bought the Collector’s Edition a few days ago. I’ve already unlocked everyone except for Seth, but I’m getting pretty close to that too.
Unlocking Gouken, while being a complicated process, wasn’t all that difficult when I “cheated” by putting it on the easiest difficulty setting with one-round matches. In using him, I’m actually quite disappointed with this version of “Sheng Long.” Akuma (known as Gouki in Japan) is actually much more epic than his bulkier opponent. Akuma’s ultra move is particularly impressive.
Anyhow, there’s some Street Fighter IV news coming down the pipeline, so let’s get to it.
After some complaints about the FightStick, Mad Catz replied saying that well under 50 complaints have been received by the company and that the defects are quite the rarity. Do you have one? Have you encountered any issues with the Mad Catz FightStick for Street Fighter IV?

Sales have been good with over two million units shipped thus far. The PS3 version appears to be more popular than the Xbox 360 version and this could be due to a number of factors.
Are you struggling with the difficulty of this fighting game? You’re not alone. Notable game designer David Sirlin says Street Fighter IV is not friendly to newbies, despite Capcom’s claims of approaching the gamer new to Street Fighter. Maybe they should all start with Ken and Ryu, if the Guardian is to be believed. There also seems to be a glitch making Seth impossibly difficult on the PS3.
There’s a rumor going around about T.Hawk and Dee-Jay joining the Street Fighter IV roster, either in the form of DLC or in some kind of SFIV: Super Hyper Edition Turbo. They started development for them, but chose not to include them in the final version.
Finally, the first batch of DLC is now available for Street Fighter IV, offering the “Femme Fatale” costume pack for Chun-Li, Cammy, Sakura, Crimson Viper, and Rose. They’re showing off some extra skin and Sakura is getting much more Ryu-inspired with her get-up. The video of these costumes is embedded below. I should also note that the Collector’s Edition came with a code to download the Brawler Costume Pack for Abel, El Fuerte, E. Honda, Rufus and Zangief. Bonus!
