SSFIV:AE Yang Combo with Four Focus Attacks (Video)

So, we all know how good Daigo is getting at using Yun in Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition. Well, the twin isn’t exactly a slouch either and you can get pretty darn creative with him.
Desk has a fantastic demo video using Yang in SSFIV:AE where he executes a combo utilizing four focus attacks. That’s bloody amazing. Just about everyone likes starting out a combo with a focus attack, but this is the first time I’ve seen four FAs intermingled in there. That’s some careful timing to be sure. Also helps that it gets capped off with an ultra combo to boot. Crazy.
The first half of the video shows the combo as-is, while the second half splits the screen with Desk’s hands to show you the timing and how it’s done.
On a semi-related note, Super Street Fighter IV: Volt was just released for the iOS platform (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch). It has 18 characters, including Cody, and online multiplayer over Wi-Fi. Pretty sweet.
Baraka Obama

So, the country may have finally settled once and for all that President Barack Obama was born in the United States… but that doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s human. He might be a Tarkatan like Baraka from Mortal Kombat.
But seriously, WTF is up with this image. Crazy.

Street Fighter X Tekken Teaser and Gameplay Trailers

Almost one year ago, we got the official unveiling of Street Fighter X Tekken, a crossover fighting game that would feature everyone’s favorite world warriors from Street Fighter, as well as the Kings of the Iron Fist from Tekken. Well, now the game has reached another milestone of development.
As you can quite plainly see through the two videos embedded below, Street Fighter X Tekken is much more similar to the Street Fighter side of things (both in style and aesthetic) than Tekken, though they say that gamers from both franchises will feel like they’re in familiar territory as far as control.
Confirmed playable characters include Ryu, Ken, Guile, Able, and Chun-Li, plus Kazuya, Nina, King, Marduk, and Bob. The matches appear to be available as one-on-ones, as well as with real-time tag battles. Expect Street Fighter X Tekken to hit Xbox 360, PS3, and PC some time in 2012.
