Street Fighter X Tekken – Pac-Man and Mega Man Super Arts and Cross Arts

So, we already know that Pac-Man and Mega Man are in Street Fighter X Tekken. We already know that Pac-Man is going to fight in some sort of mechanical suit, not unlike Krang from TMNT or T.Bonne in MvC3. But what about the ultras?

The video below showcases the super arts and cross arts from Mega Man and Pac-Man in the upcoming crossover fighting game. These ultra combos aren’t all that different from the others that we’ve seen, though I kinda dig the old-school “bleep bloop” Namco sounds that Pac-Man gets in one of his super arts. Too bad these are PS3-exclusive bonus characters with no love for the Xbox 360 gamers in the audience. What’s up with that, Capcom?

Street Fighter X Tekken Scramble Mode Demo Video

Street Fighter X Tekken Scramble Mode Demo Video

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to take traditional fighting game characters and put them in the frantic style of Super Smash Bros., wonder no longer.

One of the crazier new game modes in Street Fighter X Tekken is called Scramble Mode. Rather than use the otherwise standard “tag” style configuration, this mode puts all four characters (two per team) on the screen at the same time. From what I can gather, the two team members share a single health bar and, yes, the gem system can come into play too.

I think this might be fun for casuals, but I’m not sure how well it’d hold up for hardcore tournament play. What do you think?
