Desk Performs 101-Hit Combo in Street Fighter X Tekken

The video pretty much speaks for itself. The infamous Desk has managed to pull off a crazy 101-hit combo in Street Fighter X Tekken, putting his other combo videos to shame. Interestingly, the display maxes out at 99 hits and Desk says that there is a mechanic in SFxTK that prevents infinites, automatically making the combo drop after the 99th hit.
Behold the master at work. Yes, it scales down to 8% by the end of it, but who’s in this for the damage anyhow?
In SFxT there is a mechanic in place that means that any normal, special or super that connects after the combo count exceeds 99-hits, immediately puts the opponent into a non juggle-able state and nothing else can combo.
I assume that this was put in place to make scramble mode less broken (eg. 1 player either side, mashing jab = win) but it also means that if/when an infinite is found in regular 2on2 gameplay, it won’t be truly ‘endless’ as, when it gets to 100 hits, it will automatically end.
This is the first intance of a non-scramble mode, non-infinite meter 99+ hit combo in SFxT that I’m aware of. It might look straight forward but it took a ton of experimenting and trial & error. For example, if chun does anything before the first, raw SBK in the first combo, it won’t be possible to build the 4th bar for the 4th tag and get the combo to 99 hits. Also, when hitting 2 characters at the same time in the corner, push back is doubled, so no standard combos will work. That’s why everything here takes place mid-screen.
Huge special thanks to Dawgtanian!!
Final Boss Battle of Street Fighter X Tekken (Plus Ending Animation)
Even though there is going to be much more of a focus on the versus mode (and even scramble mode), the one-player arcade mode is still going to be a pretty big deal in Street Fighter X Tekken. And now we know who is going to be the last boss in the “final encounter” of the game.
If you’re not one for spoilers, it’s probably a good idea to look away now.
Okay, in the video below, we can quite plainly see that Ogre is the final boss. However, it’s also clear that the player team consists of two Street Fighter characters. Ogre might be the final boss regardless, but it’d be fun if someone like Akuma is the last boss if you have a Tekken team. Things might get a little more muddled if you have a mixed team.
There are three things that we can learn about Final Battle Ogre through the video below. One, he won’t have a partner, acting as a solo combatant for the last fight. Two, he has a monster-sized health bar, so your attacks will look like they’re laying on much less damage than normal. Three, his “grayed” health is constantly regenerating, as if he were the secondary character. Is that a fair fight? That’s up to you.
In any case, Street Fighter X Tekken crosses the line on March 6. Then, you’ll be able to battle Ogre on your own and claim Pandora as your own… or will you? Spoiler #2 alert: the final ending is embedded in the video below too.
The Best of Overmostheads (Oni)

What’s that? Oni’s not top tier? That might be true, but that doesn’t mean the master of the super crazy dark hadou isn’t all kinds of awesome and win. We’ve already seen some incredible Oni combos from Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition version 2012, so why not watch some more?
Showcased here are some of the best moments from Overmostheads, arguably one of the best Oni players on the planet today. Yeah, it’s pretty freaking epic. Gotta love the Air Demon, eh?
