arcana heart - playstation 2 - all girl fighting game

Not only is the PlayStation 2 about to get treated to some hot girl-on-girl action, it’s going to receive that luscious goodness on the cheap. Atlus USA has announced that they will be porting Arcana Heart over to the American market. You’ve probably never heard of this game, but the concept is actually quite simple. It’s an all-girl 2D fighting game and it seems like it’ll come packed with bitch slaps in full tow.

It might be quite as sexy as, say, Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball, but if you’re into the whole anime/cosplay thing, then Arcana Heart will be right up your alley. Atlus PR rep Aram Jabbari said that the PS2 is still a “viable platform” and that “there is no reason to abandon a veteran system just because it isn’t the newest thing around.” Well said, my friend. Although I’m itching for some Super Smash Bros. Brawl action, my favorite fighting games are still the 2D legends like Mortal Kombat II and Street Fighter III.

Oh, and that part about cheap girl-on-girl action? Arcana Heart, when it launches on April 8, will sell for a budget price of $29.99. That’s cheaper than a monthly membership at, ahem, certain websites.
