Super Smash Bros Brawl Video Review Roundup

You may have heard about a little game that got released on the Nintendo Wii yesterday. What was it called again? Oh yeah. SUPER SMASH BROS BRAWL! I picked up a copy myself and my initial impressions are that they’ve kept pretty much everything you’ve come to expect from Super Smash Bros and stepped it up a notch or three. The character count is bigger. The graphics are prettier. And you get to play as Solid mother-f*cking Snake!
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is probably the best Wii game to be released to date and it doesn’t even make use of the so-called gimmicky controls. You might even enjoy it more by playing on a GameCube or Classic Controller. In either case, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. You could say it’s the new best fighting games king. Check out these three video reviews for further evidence of our never-ending praise for this fantastic fighting game.

Live Street Fighter IV Gameplay Video From Japan
Akihabara News waltzed over to the AOU (All Nippon Amusement Machine Operator’s Union) fair in Japan to discover working demos of Street Fighter 4! This is the real deal and not some crappy NES knockoff.
In the video, we are introduced to two new characters and we also see a number of our classic Street Fighter characters in action. Dhalsim looks particularly impressive, but Guile looks pretty awesome too. The art style is certainly different than any Street Fighter game we’ve seen in the past.
It’ll take some getting used to, but I’m digging this artistic direction much more than that stupid Street Fighter EX 3D game that was released several years back. The super specials in Street Fighter IV look particularly awesome. I want and I want now.
Street Fighter IV Gameplay Video
The good news is that we’ve managed to find a gameplay video of Street Fighter IV. The bad news is that it’s not the official version coming up from Capcom. Instead, this is a totally pirated version developed by Gouder Co. and it was originally created for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
The character names are different, but the moves and the feel are totally ripped from the legendary Capcom fighting game franchise. Check out the first battle between Ryu and Ken Goho Li and Clilff. And yes, it’s filled with the cheapness of the hadouken barrage. And why is Guile a Playboy bunny?
